330ml can takeout from Chianti Brew Fighter's Pub. Pours hazed dark, tan head. Smooth, creamy even.. good oatmeal stout this, nicely balanced with some chocolate notes. Punk inspired too. Lovely.

330ml can bought from a South American stall in Mercato market, Florence. Shared with Soph straight out the can whilst admiring Ponte Vecchio from the next bridge along. Quite nice, refreshing, pleasant lager malt sweetness. Nice.

330ml bottle from a South American stall in the Mercato market, Florence. Drunk out the bottle walking around Bobboli Gardens. Quite complex for a schwarz.. especially one from Peru. Some tobacco and smoke on the finish. Surprisingly interesting.

Decent little bar on the east side of Florence. Large tap list with a good amount of local breweries, quite a few from Florence-based Agua Brewing Company, with even two beers on handpull! Small fridge with some interesting specimens. I got a couple and sat outside taking in the late afternoon sun. Nice atmosphere here, seemingly popular with locals. Only criticism - as with Chianti Brew Fighters Pub - is the godawful music blasting out inside. Apart from that, probably our pick of the bars we went to in Florence.

Draught @ Art 17, Florence. Misty yellow appearance, white head. Crisp, clean saison, pleasant sweetness, medium bodied with a gentle bitterness. Fresh, easy-drinking, decent.
