A somewhat cool Thai hipster place. Lots of concrete, wood, metal and beer fridges. They have no taps but sell exclusively beers from Thai breweries even though many of them may be brewed overseas. No WiFi. Staff were so so. Plenty of Thai beers for tickers in the area and a great addition to the Chiang Mai beer scene.

330ml bottle at Chiang Mai Craft Beer, Chiang Mai. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is peachy. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet, with a somewhat light, crisp, bubbly, light peachy, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation and a bubbly mouthfeel.

330ml bottle from Yuay, Chiang Mai. Poured a clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malty, light toffee, citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, crisp, fresh, light herbal, woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

What a great place! I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a comprehensive selection of legally brewed Thai craft beer anywhere in Thailand. They have six large fridges packed with Thai goodness at prices that can’t be beaten. I pulled out one beer for 220 Baht which I thought was very reasonable and the server told me I got two beers for that price! A large open air bar with seating for around 100. There is a small covered area for when it rains. It was rather pleasant and super cheap. Close to the airport for plane spotters. The planes pretty much take off over your head!

500ml can from Yuay, Chiang Mai. Poured a murky golden orange colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is orange rind, light toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a crisp, somewhat light, toffee, orange, light herbal, mineral stone fruit palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Can’t say it’s a great beer.
