Draft at the brewery taproom, Lewes. Poured a murky yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, light tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a smooth, fresh, mineral, juicy tropical citrus, pineapple, dry hop spice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Probably the best beer I’ve had from Taste of Love.

440ml can. Poured almost black in colour with a very thin off-white head. The aroma is roasty, big ginger. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, roasty, big spicy ginger, warm alcohol bitter palate. Over medium bodied with average carbonation.

Cask at the Cornfield Garage JDW, Eastbourne. Poured a slightly hazy dark copper colour with an everlasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is malt, light toffee. The flavour is strong sweet, light bitter, with a smooth, sugary, toffee, earthy, aromatic, hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Struggled to finish this. Way too sweet for my liking.

The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, slightly watery, roasty, nutty, earthy, light red berry fruits, light hop bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a light, somewhat watery, fresh, light lemon citrus, mineral, light hop bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation.
