The next beer might even be better. B.C."H." = British Cask "Head" - to be perceived as some disparate lonely looking bubbles, uncertain of their CO² content, and because of their scarcity, of undefinable colour. UFO's: Unspeakable Floating Obscenities MF: NO, that isn't it. That's mouthfeel, in civilized countries. I hereby solemny propose a law to be instated by all beergeeks, -amateurs, -lovers, -tasters, - enthusiasts that forthwith the use of the infernal spice, known as coriander, is forbidden for at least the five first years of brewing, and later only to be tolerated by explicit consent of minimum five different accredited beerorganisations. Infringements ought to be sanctioned by denouncement to the international beerpress and public drainpour of the offending brew.

Millésime 2023 Very fine & spritzy carbonation to small if stable white head over veiled orangey golden beer. White wine, sparkling wine, floral, farmyard wafts. Not really sweet, but still sweeter as expected from a Brut beer. Sorrel, lemon, sour grapes, green apples. Pepperish horseflavour. Acidburn and -thinning, fine carbonation - better carbonated than it looks in the glass. Nice. Almost more winey than beery. But in the result, I find no reasonable justification for the staggering price.

Head reduced to tan rim in seconds; viscously pouring black beer. (Islay) maltwhisky. Tarr, tobacco, leather, Lapsan Souchong concentrate. Sweet - Islay malt - beetroot - earthy. Bit mineral as well, smoked. Fiery alcoholburn. Slick, viscous, but not heavy - if a tad sticky. Low carbonation. Quite good one. I'm sure there's Islay whisky here - why not mention it? Txs to Stef!

Small, if rather stable cream-coloured head over fully opaque, dark brown beer. Alcohol, fortified wine, nuts, chocolate, faintly cocos. Sweet, boozy, rum & fusels. Again somewhat nutty, some chocolate, and the fortified (red) wine returns. Very restrained acidity. Alcoholwarming, and even some alcoholthinning. Bit viscous, oily. Medium carbonation. There's better in this segment - even from both breweries. Txs to Stef!

Small 'almost-head', white, over fully hazy yellow beer. Citrus, lime, exotic citrus, lemonbalm, moth repellant. Cinnamon (the moth repellant from the nose, I'm afraid); citrus, if much less prominent. Other fruit. Light, slick, well-carbonated. Amusing, if nothing special. Txs to Stef

Short-lived white head over white wine-like beer. Floral nose, vinous, white grapes and Blanc-de-Blancs. Spring blossoms. Sourish, refreshing. Hints at non-grape wine (Guernsey tomato wine, maybe?). Mineral and lime. Light body, if quite slick. Feels better carbonated than it looks. La Source? Magicians, if you ask me. Txs to Stef!

Fulminant build-up of lightly yellow head, fluffy, over hazy ochre-orange beer. Vegetable nose, rather oppressive, herbs, garden wees, alternative potpourries, wild yeasts. A bit of all the above, with a lot of sweetness, and even more potpourri. Lots of dried herbs/pharmaceutical flavours. Again wild yeasts. Very slick, almost oily. Not very heavy, despite good ABV. Almost overcarbonated. Not En Stoemelings' best, IMO. As to the 'tripel' moniker?
