I think you’d have a hard time finding a better shop dedicated to cider and perry. Big selection, top producers. Value seems reasonable. Nice location. Friendly service. If you’re a cider fan and in East London, try to visit here.

Elite stuff. Modest sweetness, cut by quite lively carbonation. Relaxed acidity, some apple skins, semi-sweet underripe pear, bit of musty cellar. Great balance. Massively drinkable, refreshing.

Impressive stuff. Cheap as chips from Lidl. Really clean. Nice crispy cereal, floral hops, soft bitter husk, a little grass, grain, biscuits. Nicely balanced overall.

Clear, amber-brown pour. Nice and mellow mild. Soft dried semi-dark fruits, toasted brown bread, sight earthy-leafy bitterness. A few berries about. Decent condition. Very drinkable. Fairly dry.

A typically well balanced SN beer. I’d say doesn’t go full haze - both in look and character. Some tropical fruits, a little pine, rind, tangerine, supportive pale malts. Understated boozy boost. The sweetness is nicely rounded off by the hops. Just a nicely balanced, highly drinkable beer, especially given the strength.

Very sweet. Not much depth. Some toffee. Metallic notes. Caramel concentrate. No bitterness. Not super drinkable.

Wild stuff. Really is like a pure tropical fruit smoothie. Can’t detect much of any booze. Lots of mango, tangerine, guava, grapefruit. Low acidity. Nip of citric bite. Very tasty, if a little nutty.

Wow, that’s exceptional, even by Kernel’s typical world-class standard. A little juicier than the usual Table Beer, nicely pithy, limited minerality, soft rindy bitterness, a few pine needles. Clean and economical. Massively drinkable.
