Leighton Profile - Brewver (Dev)

Surprised I haven’t scooped this before. Was huge back on the day. And I think it holds up well by modern standards.luscious fruit purée, lots of citrus, soft piney bitterness, substantial pale malt sugars. Rich but balanced, no chalk, not cloying. Excellent offering.

Rich glowing amber. Sweet and rather tasty, notes of toasted sugars, caramel, faint berry, bready malts, toffee, faint bitterness. Sweet finish, nips of leafy hops. Tasty.

Pretty good stuff. Elevates the style. Quite bitter, some citrus rind, oily lime peel, subtle zest, lean pale malt and biscuit. Bitter finish, a little grass with the rind.

Pretty solid overall. Nothing really sets it apart from the pack, it’s a pretty typical hazy IPA. Some ripening citrus fruits, melon,
Orange, tangerine, mild bitterness, decent pale malt sweetness. Faintly chalky in the finish.
