Pretty drinkable stuff. Fairly rich and bready, low bitterness, biscuits, a little cereal and straw. Easygoing. Pleasant fresh crunchy cereal vibes.

Can in London - picked up from the brewery taproom in Paris. Pretty good, fairly clean, notes of white grape, soft bitter citrus rind, a nip of pine needle. Light sweetness, pale bread. Some melon, tangerine, nip of white peach. Drinks nicely.

I actually quite like this. Clean and relatively dry. Some good lean bitterness. A little grassy. Some lemon peel and pine needles. Mellow sweetness, dried pale biscuits. Lingering bitterness. A little cabbage vibe but doesn’t bother me. Sourced from a Monoprix in Paris.

Cheap trash lager. Not offensive. Fairly bland, in a kind of good way. Basic dried cereal, a little bitter straw. It is a bit dry and papery. I like that it isn’t sugary sweet. So, fairly bland and just about drinkable.

Gets the style pretty well. Had some good and meaty dark malts, nice restrained smoke, burnt toffee, roast, a little ash, cooked ham, nips of raisin. Could maybe do with a touch more bitterness. But overall it’s smooth and well drinkable.
