Can at home picked up from Siren online. A mostly clear nut brown red coloured pour with a lasting loose magnolia head. Aroma is semi sweet, nutty malts, resin, pine sap, light tobacco. Palate is semi sweet, little thin, resin, hop oils, Flavour is composed of semi sweet, layered malts, nutty, brown bread, light wet pine, light spice, ok. Red IPA should be punchier.

Bottle at home picked up from Siren online. A hazed dull nut brown coloured pour with a fading loose khaki head. Aroma is funky vinous fruit, oak barrel, maderia, spicy notes, toffee, funky raisin. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, fudge / toffee, with funky vinous barrel layers, madeira, rum and raisin, white grape and oak tannin, spicy funk in the finish. Palate is semi sweet, oily texture, tannin, dark wood, cherry. Good complexity.

Cask at the moon under water Watford Jdw. A clear amber orange coloured pour with a a lasting off white cap. Aroma is subdued, nutty, brown bread, singed sugars, apple turnover. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, chewy toasted malts, toffee, singed sugars, apple, dried fruits... Decent cask condition. Decent characterful bitter.

Tap at mad Squirrel watford. A translucent golden coloured pour with a fading loose white head. Aroma is super sharp lemon rind, fizzy lemon, shurbet, tangy lime, pinch of salt, leafy hop. Flavour is composed of sharp lemon juice, prickly citrus, lime, refreshing, mouth watering. Palate is tart and prickly, little abrasive. Not bad.

Tap at mad Squirrel watford. A almost cleat yellow straw coloured pour with a fading white head. Aroma is peach melba, orange rind, tangerine, soft flaked grains, subdued. Flavour is composed of super crisp, light grains, flaked wheat, orange rind, tangerine, peach, low bitterness. Palate is super crisp dn refreshing chalky, prickly carbonation. Fine beer, but very forgettable.

Aroma is sweet sticky honey roasted nuts, liquorice, toasted nuts, sryup, Flavour is composed of raw grains, nut skins, liquorice, bark, leafy, big bitter bastard, rye bread, green liquorice. Palate is semi sweet, drying peanut skins, resinous hop, super bitter, highish carbonation.
