I don't really tick much nowadays. Still enjoy a decent beer just as much, along with the community that Ratebeer originally built.

I've not moved to that popular app and never will - It's become a monopoly which is having too much influence on today's craft beer scene.

Decent brewpub outside of the center with a terrace outside. You walk inside to a nice main room dominated by the bar, but there’s also a bigger room to the side that looks more like an eating space. Beer quality was good and focused towards lower alcohol when I visited. I was told by a local that the food here is great, particularly the pizza, but we didn’t eat there.

A decent beer store with a great selection of local beers. The guy working there (maybe the owner) certainly knew his stuff and was happy to give recommendations.

Can at my Quebec apartment from L'Axe du Malt. Orange juice appearance with a small white head. Aroma is a nice blend of slightly dank, slightly resinous and fruity. Tropical, citrus and coming in super juicy in the finish. Really nice!

It’s a funny little place. Inside is dominated by a central bar and seats around the side. Outside there’s a decent sized terrace for the warmer days. It’s kind of old and kind or modern at the same time. It’s got character. Beers are decent and the food was well received by the folks I was with. (I was stuffed myself from an earlier poutine!)

Draft at the source. Near clear golden orange with a white head. Aroma of course is citrus upfront. Lightly green hops
But pretty much what you expect. Simple but fresh and decent.

Draft at the source. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of fruity hops, citrus and light grain. Fresh and decent. Light bodied with light moderate carbonation.
