I don't really tick much nowadays. Still enjoy a decent beer just as much, along with the community that Ratebeer originally built.

I've not moved to that popular app and never will - It's become a monopoly which is having too much influence on today's craft beer scene.

Draft at the brewpub. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of fruity hops, grain and light malt. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied, moderate carbonation.

Big place, well out of the center but on an easy bus line. There’s a good sized inside area and smaller terrace for good weather days. I choose to stay inside and it felt more like.a restaurant. The beer was good though. Varied styles with a selection of lagers, IPAs, imperial stouts and a bunch of other stuff in between.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours near black with a ring beige head. Aroma of licorice, dark chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, oak barrel. Strange thing with the licorice as it’s not in the base beers. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with a thick texture and soft carbonation.

Draft at the brewpub. Hazy amber brown with an off white head. Aroma of butterscotch, caramel, oak, light booze, rum and apple brandy showing up but not overpowering. Light heavy sweet, warmin in the finish. Thick in the texture with soft carbonation. Pretty nice.

Draft at the brewpub. Looks great, black with a ring beige head. So, when it comes to the aroma, I’m expecting bourbon of course, this is bourbon BA but what I’m getting is massive coffee. Cold brew upfront, but then the bourbon comes out behind with vanilla, chocolate, caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet but not crazy. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Draft at the brewpub. Milky yellow light orange with a white head. Aroma of fruity hops, orange, citrus, light green weedy notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with mouth watering juiciness coming in the finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
