I don't really tick much nowadays. Still enjoy a decent beer just as much, along with the community that Ratebeer originally built.

I've not moved to that popular app and never will - It's become a monopoly which is having too much influence on today's craft beer scene.

Can with a view at Canoe Restaurant, Toronto. Fairly hazy light orange with a white head. Aroma of citrus and fruity hops. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Above light bodied with past carbonation.

This is a nice and different place in the city. Made up of several different rooms and an outside area at the back. They’ve got a nicely different beer selection - nothing mind blowing, but all decent that I tried. From their own beers there’s traditional ale styles, sours, IPAs, porters and stouts. Interesting, and makes for a fun flight or two. Friendly service and average prices.

Yep it’s in an area surrounded by bars and restaurants and the prices are higher than further out places, but I didn’t find it an out and out tourist trap like others have said. Nice enough, friendly service and the beer I tried was decent enough. Certainly worth popping in if you’re in the area.

Draft at the brewpub. Fairly hazy pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma of big citrus and fruity hops. Light to moderate sweet and bitter. Thin bodied but really juicy.

Draft at the brewpub. Black with a tan head. Aroma is big roasty, dark malt with green weedy hops behind. Moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
