Can. Mitchell’s Wines probably. Deep brown. Slim messy sticky pale beige head. Nose has cook’s chocolate. Raspberry ring biscuits. Those with the weird foam thing. Bit of vine fruit. Taste is pretty sweet first up with some dryness. Light bitterness. Drinks ok overall although it’s pretty thin. Light dry light bitter finish. It doesn’t not deliver.

Can. Dram Shop. Clear gold. Slim bubbly white head. Nicely old school caramel forward malts. Shelf turd kind of vibe. Hops come across piny and ripe citrus. Bit of herb. Taste is light sweet with a good Buxton bitter bite. Drinks easy. Bitter finish. Yeah old school this. Pleasant surprise. Best Buxton pale in ages.

Bottle. Morrison’s. Surely this doesn’t count as a Thailand tick when it’s brewed over here? Very pale gold. Pretty decent white foam stays the course admirably. Quite thin malts and corn. Hops are lively though. Peppery and leafy. Taste has some sweetness with a little grainy dryness and an ok pop of leafy bitterness. Drinks fine overall. Fairly clean finish. Not half bad. Enjoy the shit pic btw.

Can via the online shop. Ordered yesterday and delivered today by the brewer. Can’t say fairer than that. Anyhoo. Clear medium gold. Slim white foam just about sticks around. Nose has biscuity malts. Light citrus led hop. It’s grainy above anything else. Taste is quite dry with a nip of leafy grassy bitterness. Nicely refreshing with crisp fizz. Dry and light bitter finish. Steady logger bier.

Bottle. Mills online shop. Hazed glowing orange gold. Beautiful swede is slim dense glossy and lasting. Looks boss. Nose has petrol forward apple pomace. Lots of rough skinned apple and pear. I’m going for red wine as the barrel used. Mills bugs. All that. Taste is juicy sweet and light bitter. Drinks like pop. Juicy lightly tart finish. Lots going on here but stays easy drinking.

Can. Morrison’s. Muddy dark brown. Half decent sticky lasting beige foam. Nose has dark chocolate. Well done white crusty loaf. Some dark cherry truffle. Some charred citrus. Taste has a light sweetness up front with a good heft of charred bitterness. Drinks nice and easy overall. Nicely juicy in fact. Good depth of bitterness to finish. Nice CDA.

Bottle. Waitrose. Hazed pale gold. Top tier Kernel swede. Looks boss. Nose has lean dry grain with hop notes of unripe orange peel. Little bit of pine cone. Bit of bubblegum mosaic. Taste is lean dry and fairly bitter. Decent body at the 3%. Dry bitter finish. No sweetness anywhere in this one, which I suppose makes for a good table beer / aperitif / get it down the neck starter bev.

Glass is a top tier Mills and this is a top tier Glass. White Burgundy barrels lift heavy and Hallertau hops get the reps in. Classy gear. Juicier than the 1980 Mr Olympia line up (Mike Mentzer was a bit of a mardy arse tbf).
