Can. Different design now to the one in the pic. Mostly clear orange gold. Slim semi lacing white foam. Caramel malts and a slightly vegetal note first up. Bit of piny orange peel hop. Not a deal, mind. Taste is semi sweet with a moderate bitterness. Picking up a cardboard glue thing now too. Drinks reasonably well overall. The vegetal thing subsides somewhat. Ok. Ish.

Tap at Thornbridge. Hazed pale straw yellow. Sturdy white foam. Low on the wheat and high on the fruity addition. Fairly dry with some decent bitterness. Drinks well especially as it’s served really cold in here. Juicy light bitter finish. Nice one. In fact I had two of the same.

Big fat pint. Rutland Arms. There was no beating this today. Multiple fruit lambics. Good real cider. Hoppy bollocks. Nothing came close. Uber easy drinking malt forward logger with a big hoppage. Class.

Tap. Old Shoe Sheffield. Didn’t get a pic. Hazed pale raspberry red. Barely a head. Loads of fruit here. A bit sweet cherry and strawberry forward. Grape musk. Oak. Bit of vanilla. Taste is super juicy sweet and a little tart. Drinks like pop overall. Juicy tart tangy fruit finish. Lovely gear took no thinking about.

Tap. Old Shoe Sheffield. Light haze on a pale gold. Barely a head. Lovely twang of Riesling grape. Lightly tart with ripe fruit sweetness. Soft leathery funk. Trace of oak. Taste is light tart, with juicy sweetness. Light dry. Minimal acidity. Juicy fruit forward finish. As per the other recently beers in this new series the drinkability is high.
