Can, month old. It pours hazy orangey - gold with a fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, pine needles, lovely orangey fruits, juicy, bright, passion fruit, ripe mango, orange squash, kumquat, tangerine and orange blossom. The taste is firmly dry, pleasing bitterness which lingers, touch green, light dank edges, piney goodness, grass, fragrant, floral, pithy, zesty, orange peel, grapefruit, kumquat, orange blossom and clean malt base with a drying finale. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Flavourful with brilliant balance. Eminently drinkable.

Crowler from Dogtap Ellon. It pours darkest brown with a sturdy light brown head. The aroma is rich roasted malts, bitter - sweet, coffee, dark chocolate, charred vibes, warming smoke, raisin, sultana, toasted fruit cake, rich chocolate, toffee and mars bar. The taste of pretty smooth upfront, dark roasted malt, dark chocolate covered coffee beans, some umami, liquorice, toffee, pleasing but not overdone smokiness, charred accents, pipe tobacco, toasted fruit cake, malt loaf, rum & raisin ice cream and some pleasing alcohol warmth. Finish is fairly bitter, dry and roasted. Pretty flavourful and robust. Nice one.

Can from HoTM. It pours cloudy dirty golden - blonde with a decent white head. The aroma is super fresh, green, weedy, dank, damp herbal vibes, spring onions, tropical fruit action, mango, papaya, lychee, watermelon, passion fruit, guava and um bungo. The taste is dry, nice kick of bitterness, green, weedy, dank, spring onions, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, bitter citrus peel, kumquat, tropical fruits punch, papaya, mango, five alive fruit juice and some floury bread with a green, fruity finale. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Packed full of flavour for the kinda abv. Happy how fresh this feels given it's crossed the Atlantic.

Crowler from Dogtap, Ellon. It pours jet black with thick, rugged khaki head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, charred pine, light umami, super fruity stuff, tropical fruits, mango dipped in dark chocolate, apricot, jammy berry, black forest gateaux, sacher torte, neopolitan ice cream and cacao nibs. The taste of firmly dry, bitter, dark roasted malt, toasty pine, touch of resin, dark chocolate, cacao nibs, restrained level of booze, grapefruit, orange bitters, dark chocolate mango, apricot jam, sachet torte and some toasty spices with a bitter, dark roasted finale. Medium+ body and moderate, supporting carbonation. Not as bitter as Bashah, which this is based on, but has a great depth of flavour. Satisfying.

From HoTM it pours slightly hazy deep golden - yellow with a decent white cap. The aroma is slick, oily, very sweet, tinned fruit cocktail, fruit syrup, tinned mango, peach, white sugar and candy. The taste of slick, oily, sticky, quite raw, punch, very boozy, raw alcohol, tinned fruits, peach, mango, sugary, fruit syrup and heavy sweetness with a slick, boozy finale. Full body, average carbonation and sticky mouth feel. Pretty rough around the edges and not what I've come to expect from Revolution.
