Fishermen enjoy a beverage while casting away. Whether fishing or imbibing, there are limits, whether it be a 5 leader or 5 liters. Saisons were brewed back in the day for farm workers with a 5 liter daily limit, a satiating standard that would allow for ample thirst quenching in any condition while still being able to complete the task at hand, both then and now. Our session-style Szechuan Brett was designed to do just that. Whether farming or fishing, a little lighter beer extends the limit, a little pepper spice provides a little more character without over doing. What ever you limit is, enjoy our Szech ’n Brett, have a good catch, we do!

Bottle, 2015. Pours lightly hazy golden, medium plus white head, dissipates fairly quickly, decent lacing. Aroma is Brett, lemon, basement, black pepper, dust, chili pepper. Flavor is dry, hint of lemony tartness, medium brett funk, just a hint of pepper, but no real heat. Light body, bubbly carbonation. Interesting and tasty. I wish this was 4%.

Tap. Hazy orange-golden color with white head. Aroma is peppery, wild yeasts, peach funk. Taste is doughy, peppery, wild yeasts again, peach again. Peppery finish. High carbonation, and quite heavy, as most other Logsdons I’ve had - nice!

Bottle in Winter Park with jcnielsen. Thanks Justin! Pours a hazy yellow appearance with a white head. Aroma has notes of green tea, herbs, black pepper, light funk, some fruit, and grass. Bone dry. A little twangy. Blood orange and citrus. Ok but not my favorite.
