Synchopathic Apricot is a kettle soured and dry-hopped sour ale brewed with apricots. Synchopathic Apricot “synchs” our refreshingly tart sour ale with the citrus dry-hopping of a pale ale. Biscuity malt and an uplifting stone fruit beat from added apricots form a perfect harmony in this delicately balanced and delightfully enjoyable beer.

Can that has cellared for a while. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a snow globe like storm of chunky stuff bobbing around with all the carbonation. Head is medium sized and white. Aromas are weak. I get a bit of peach/apricot, but it is really washed out. Not the tart punch I was expecting to the nose. Flavor is decidedly sour, however... almost shudder-inducing on first sip. Not a ton of flavor to it other than \"sour,\" however. A little bit of a metallic edge to it as well... not awful, but noticeable. I have enjoyed all of the Wild Sour Series up to date, but this one misses the mark a bit.

12 ounce can from Flanagan's, 6/6/20. No sign of synchopathic on the label but this otherwise seems the same. Just apricot. Hazy yellow, chunks. Large fizzy off-white head, fair retention. Aroma of apricot, funk, green hops. Taste is dry apricot, resiny and green hops, citrus. Thin-medium bodied.

Yellow color. Moderately sour and light apricot flavor. Good and not as tart as some of their beers.

Hi hopes for this $3 can and my can does not carry the Synco label, not sure if this is the right place or not. I'm thinking not but the description is the same, it just doesn't say syncho-pathetic on it. Does carry a tart apricot or peach olfactory, fer sher. Big bubbly head on an otherwise almost clear pale yeller brew. Nice initial pleasant tart palate, sizzling and near real lambic sour. I normally don't like apricot bullshit beers but this stuff is well balanced with tartness, never comes across artificial. Not a whole lottah apricot in there but what is, comes across rather civilized. I've been quite happy with these dehstil sour beauties, and this is another. Yes, in the end I don't like hoppy beers and for this to say its dry hopped, you'd never know from the tart experience. No real presence of hops here and I like that. Therefore, its probably really IS NOT the synchopathic version? Just straight apricot on wild? Hope so. I liked this.

355mml. can. Tasted @ home. 30/05/2019. Peach orange colour with a medium white head. Poor retention. Floaters. Aroma is full of, obviously, apricot, spruce and biscuits. Taste is medium sour with a nice fruity finish. Long sour and acid finish. Next one please!

Fruity nose. Hazy deep golden, fair frothy white head, dissipates quickly to a thin layer. Aroma, tart, apricot, some orange. Taste medium sweet and sour, tart, apricot. Sweet and sour aftertaste, light orange pith, salty and spicy notes, light to medium body, watery texture, average carbonation, well-balanced sour, good.

Pours a hazy straw color with a medium thin white head that burns away quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Aroma of apricot, wheat and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of tart apricot, wheat, mild spice and bready malt. The finish is mildly tart with an apricot aftertaste. Above average overall.

Fairly clear apricot (surprising, huh?) and peach coloured body with an orange and light coppered glow with a very frothy and bubbly two to three centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of sour grain, a dose of yeast, some lighter wheat components, a dry coriander seed smell and ending with just a layer of bread. Light-bodied; Strong and very tart apricot and peach flavours with a dry yeast, some light grain and a heavy tart and fruity flavour with a good deal of sugars and bubble gum noticeable towards the end, but the pure fruit is nice and crisp. Aftertaste shows the grass and very dry tart notes with a lot of sour fruity twangs with the apricot and pear flavours coming out quite strongly with a light layer of grass and herbs, but the wheat showing well, with the fruits the strongest make this very nice and robust. Overall, a nice and well-layered soured and tart beer with the good fruit notes, but showing a lot of yeast, wheat and dry characteristics throughout. Great to sample, especially if you like soured beers, especially those with fruits. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Knightly Spirits in Orlando (Orange Blossom Boulevard), Florida on 28-December-2017 for US$2,99 sampled at my house in Washington on 29-October-2018.

355ml can. Barely clear, orangey golden colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Lactic tart-ish, herbal, and floral aroma, hints of hints of pineapple, quince, carrot, mild mustard. Taste is tart, tangy, lactic, fruity, herbal, floral, hints of quince, pineapple, old lemon peel, a touch of salted lemon, cracker, weak hints of apricot. Really sour, not that different from the regular version.
