Nalane do szklaneczki zamowionej przez wujka z Essen w browarze Heller Brau wraz z 10 piwami Marzen. Paczka przeslana pod same drzwi pare ladnych lat temu. Ogromne dzieki i pozdrawiam.

Amber body, with a big, beige head.
Aroma of smoked wood, bread, toffee, subtle fruits. Tastes similar, with more dry smoke, bacon.
Medium mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes smokey, wooden, dry, slightly sweet, bready.
Beatiful! Quite dark for a "Helles Märzen", but aroma-wise it makes sense, pretty dry, with a lighter body. Distinct and intense smoke notes, but still perfectly balanced. Another amazing Schlenkerla I could drink all day!

500mL bottle, pours a hazy dark amber with a medium beige head. Aroma has moderate smokiness, toasted bready malt, and a hint of dry caramel. Flavour has intensely dry smoke, light peated character, ashiness, and bready malt. Super dry, drier than the regular Marzen or Helles, with intense dry ashy smokiness. Excellent.

0,5l bottle at home . Brown color, small white head. smells spices, sausage, earthy, tobacco. Very nice smell. Medium body, soft carbonation. tastes leathery, peppery, smoked, probably, gselchtes, smoked meats. finishes lightly dry with notes of smoked and smoked meats. Rather smoked, not sweet like the usual Märzen, good I prefer my smoked beers a bit more on the sweet side though.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Slight hazy amber. Huge bacon, sweet malts, prunes, caramel, diacetyl, soft mineral. It's very smoky and meaty, but the underlying beer is also quite pleasant, fruity and crisp and not too sweet. Medium bodied, crisp finish. Not bad.

Bottle courtesy of Jonas, cheers Jonas! Consumed at Mum and Keith's, Kempsey nr Worcester, Sunday 19th October 2025 after a drive from Spond, Herefordshire. Pours hazy mid amber with a mid sized white head that soon departed. Nice in the mouth, smokey, fruity and with a nice tang. Nice woodiness, smokey with a little meaty edge, notably a bacon nose and light bacon touch in the mouth. Very good but slightly preferred the Grodsiskie.

Bottle from Westhill Service Station, I think... It pours clear chestnut brown with a lasting, fluffy, the yellowy - white head. The aroma is smooth, bitter - sweet, lovely rich smoked, smoked meats, smokey bacon crisps, honey glazed ham, touch of toffee, brown bread and smoked oak. The taste is rich smoked upfront, smooth, charred oak, smoked meats, bitter - sweet character throughout, cola cooked gammon, brown bread, touch of malt loaf, bonfire embers, bitterness lingers throughout, touch of tannin abd toasty spice. Finish is bitter - sweet with smooth, lingering smoke. Great. I am beginning to think these guys know how to make smoked beers.... 🫠

500ml bottle online from Rad Beer. Pours clear amber with a tight head of pale tan foam. Sweet malts, caramel, smokey bacon, frazzles. Light sweet & light to moderate bitterness. Super clean. Medium body with fine carbonation. Plenty smokey but it's got great balance. Magnificent.
