Dark golden with little white head. Aroma is lemon, some yeasts, slight smoke, slight salt. Taste is more salt, bitterness, maybe a little ham, malty stuff. Heavy, not so easy to drink, a bit too phenolic. Meh.

Bottle shared. Hazy amber with an off white head. Aroma of herbs, yeast, caramel and peat coming out as expected by the name. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle @ ZZT 2016-1. Aroma of peat and malt. Taste has also just peat, malt and plastic booze. This is bad.

Thanks to Brett? I believe. Sampled Whisky Blond & Whisky Infused version – 2 * 330 ml. sampled @ ZZT 2016-1. Whisky Blond is BBF 1-7-2017 & Whisky Infused is BBF 1-7-2021. Which is find rather hilarious. Whisky Blond: Hazy orange, little white head. Nose is dull plastic seaweed whisky, touch vegetable. Taste is dull plastic, sweet seaweed, watered down peat, sugar,… Dull seaweed body, bit weak. Base beer seems to be completely lost, whole tastes like a dull diluted peated whisky. 3.4/5. Whisky Infused: Hazy orange, white bubbles. Nose is dull seaweed peat, plastic, iodine. Taste is seaweed, plastic, boring, heavier on plastic, oddly more white sugar sweetness. Dull seaweed body, no base beer basically vague iodine. Meh. Found this one to be a touch lesser. 3.3/5. Nice labels.
