Bottle at Craft. Great aroma of strawberries and cream and a little spice, hoppy bitterness. And that's where my notes stopped...

Draught at Prohibition Pig, 3/15/14.
Lightly hazy, bright, brass-golden with a small but firm, white head atop.
Lovely herbal-floral hops in the nose sit alongside light honey from the malt and a strong mineral character with moderate black pepper in the background. Good malt depth but also vivaciously hoppy. No alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it's soft and malty with good dryness and malt depth, light honey-like notes and mild black pepper with light esters being overtaken by fresh, herbal hop notes, lush grass and light bits of yellow fruit-like character. Well-attenuated and tightly-carbonated with supple malt and no alcohol or flaw. While it's hoppy, the saison character still comes through, with plentiful mineral and phenolic character on the finish.

Partizan bottleshare. Hazy gold - amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Caramel malts, trace of dry creamy sweetness. Modestly tart citrus. Light dry finish. Aged but likely no worse for it.

Bottle shared at Partizan - sourced from Beergium. Pours lightly hazy orange with a tight, creamy white head. The nose has some marmalade, crunchy biscuits, wheat flakes, ripe lemon, yeast. Light-medium sweet with a little booze, crackers, more wheat, ripe citrus. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more crackers, a little bitter hay, ripe citrus, wheat bread, more yeast. Fun stuff.

Bottle at Partizan thanks to LKS. It pours hazy golden - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, floral, toasty grain, cereal, brioche, vanilla, spice, earth and croissant. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, brioche, bready, cake, cereal, orange peel, tangerine, marmalade, bit of spice and a touch of alcohol with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit sweet perhaps. Fun anyhow.

Bottle from Beergium.com, 2015 vintage. Cloudy, murky golden with big white head. Aroma of honey, spices, floral hops, peppers and yeast. Similar taste with well rounded spiciness from hops, peppery bite, some very light funk. Nice saison with a lot of character. I like!
