14 October 2022. At Cloudcroft Brewing Company. Shared with the lovely Anke!

A: clear dark golden-amber, stable, foamy, tan head.
A: pecan, roasted peanut, hazelnut paste, pie.
T: sweetish fig & raisin, pecan & hazelnut maltiness.
F: herbal hops, dry-nutty, bit caramelly.
P: medium body, oily texture, average carbonation.
The pecan's a success, that's for sure.

Amber color with a sweet pecan pie aroma. Flavor matches, sweet dessert taste with a mild nuttiness. Minimal bitterness. Interesting.

Pours amber from the bottle with a frothy, off white head. Aroma is strongly of pecan. Mild notes of hazelnut and fresh cream. Taste is sweet, lots of pecan, touch of spice. Not complex at all, but still nice.

Bottle courtesy of Cybercat, thank you ma’am! Chillhazy deep amber color, off white head. Huge nutty aroma. Taste is earthy nutty brownies. Decent.

Bottle thanks to my wife in an odd convoluted way. Pours clear orange, small off-white head, dissipates quickly, good lacing. Aroma is huge pecan - no doubt what the adjunct is here, caramel, spices. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, loads of pecan and other spices. Medium body. Gimmicky to be sure, but actually not bad.

Bottle from Whole Foods. Sweet brown ale with nice heady, nutty aroma. Pours out a caramel brown with soft soapy head. Nuts are mostly in the aroma, in the taste it just comes across as maple sugar sweetness. Finishes quick, leaves nothing to remember it by.

12oz bottle. Filtered orange-brown body. Medium bodied, sweet. Big extractish tasting pecan tones. Decent enough for what it is. Better than the other two Sierra Blance offerings I’ve tried, but still sort of thin.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a rich candied pecan and cookie note that is backed by sweet grains. Flavor is similarly sweet with candied pecan backed by cookies and sweet grains throughout.
