Brewed in honor of our American cousin, The Mighty Bison! Light bodied with a bright golden colour. This American pale ale is brewed with big American hops which offer hints of grapefruit, light citrus notes and a subtle pine aroma. As guys across the pond would say "Grab the Bison By The Horns!"

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Pours clear gold, highly effervescent, with a frothy, pure white head. Grainy pale malts in the aroma, some old orange peel, damp hay. Light sweet flavour with more grainy, husky malt character, some rindy bitterness, flinty minerals, some pithy tangerine. Light bodied with average to lively carbonation. Finishes with more of the same - grainy pale malts, minerals, dry and pithy/rindy citrus. So so overall.

Keg at the George, Croydon. It pours hazy amber with a small white head. The nose is bitter - sweet, a bit juicy, dull tropical fruits, hay and earth. The taste is crisp, bitter, grapefruit, lemon peel, straw, light soap, grass and peppery spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Pretty inoffensive and drinkable enough.
