Bottle shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Many thanks to Wingman for this one. A thick dark mahogany brown coloured pour with halo of tan head. Aroma is medium sweet, brown sugars, hazelnut, raisin. Chewy. Jammy rolly Polly. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, chewy, spicy rum, raisin, brown sugars, cinnamon spicy. Palate is medium sweet, oily, moderate carbonation.

Typically solid dark sauce from Bottle Logic. Notes of rich dark fruits, raisins, dates, chocolate cake, soft roast, marshmallows, rocky road fudge. Sweet but not quite cloying. Impressively drinkable given the heft.

Bottle at CBJ Tasting. Dark oily brown. No head. Aroma has booze, dark fruits, chewy dough. Flavourwise it has chewy dough and molasses with a boozy (barrel aged?) streak. Spice. More booze. Medium bodied. Oily. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Yum.

Tasting at CBJ, thanks to Wingman. Near opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, fairly light bodied, a light carbonation. Light bodied sweetish chocolate malts. A pleasant light ice cream rum and raisin. Light smooth finish. Mild alcohol spice. Nicely done. Concept delivered with aplomb.

Nose is decadent chocolate shavings, molasses, niff of rum barrel, light spice.
Taste comprises chocolate, vanilla, brown sugar melt, toffee fudge, mellow barrel.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a rising boost offered.
Solid.

Van fles bij Borefts '25. Zwarte kleur, bruine kraag. Boozy, gebrand, rozijnen, rum, bruine suiker, marshmallows, licht metalig door alle overdaad aan suikers, vol, dik. Lekker, maar stukken minder dan de FO of FO Maple.

A black beer, no head. Aroma of strong dark malt, rum, wood, booze. Taste of boozy dark malt, chocolate, rum barrel. Boozy finish.

From tap at Borefts 2025. Big roast with chocolate, soy sauce, rum barrel, raisins, caramel, alcohol. Pretty sweet, some bitterness as well. Strong, rich, great.
