Citrus hop aroma and matching bitter grapefruit peel taste. Highly carbonated mouthfeel. Hop dominant. Slight cooling evergreen taste at the finish. Lasting bitter aftertaste.

Mostly crisp, but ever so slightly hazy straw and golden coloured body with a thinnish, off-white head that leaves a soapy lace on the sides of the glass. Aroma of citrus fruit, light herbal and grassy notes with some light and subdued yeast elements and a dash of flowers and earth and a minor hint of grapefruit and lemons. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong dry and herbal notes from the hops show at first with a dry and grassy element and some slight herbal and very perfumey aspects from the hops with a soft sweetness from some citrus fruits and even from some leftover caster sugars. Aftertaste shows the light bitterness and dry, grassy and herbal hop notes with a light dose of malts, but this is heavier on the hops than the malt. Overall, a bright and pretty grassy beer with some nice hop elements and an odd, slightly funky fake sugar note with a good deal of citrus fruit and grains without much respite from the hops. Nice to sample, but not great nor worth trying to find, even if you are looking for a new beer here in the South. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Savannah, Georgia on 30-December-2021 for US$3,99 sampled in my hotel room here in [downtown] Savannah, Georgia on 30-December-2021.

Dank as a dungeon, with a toasted grain undertone and loads of citrus pith and berry. Finishes full of firm pine and a little yeast. A tad too weedy for me, but still a solid IPA.

16oz draft pour. Hazy orange gold with decent white head. Nice pineapple, tangerine, lemon aroma. Flavour is a little watery, doesn’t quite reach the aroma. Nice bitter finish

Got in a BIF from KMitch. 12 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. A bit malty/muddy aromas. Nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/sticky, and fairly crisp/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.5%. Overall this a very nice IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and fairly crisp to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not aggressive. Feels like Classic C's/Amarillo hops. Very juicy and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; balanced bready Munich malt backbone, mild residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering. Well made and classic tasting style example.
