11/10/2025. Cask at wetherspoon beer festival, at Cricketers, Ipswich. Noce poir. Aroma is malty, toffee, bready, biscuit, ripe fruits, touch of molasses. Quite sweet, moderate bitterness and body. Soft carbonation. A little cloying. Started brightly but did fade a bit.

Hand pulled third of a pint in my local Spoons on 9th October 2025. Second of 7 festival beers tried on the night. It's amber in colour, off white head. Malty front with hedgerow berries and a dry marmalade finish, liked it.

[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A dark amber pour with a ring of translucent froth; aroma of dark berries; smooth, sweet and fruity in the mouth with blueberries and blackberries and caramel malts; then a satisfying chewy malt finish. A nice autumnal bitter.

Decent enough sweet malty bitter. Amber brown with a frothy / creamy off-white head and a soft aroma of fruit malt. Medium bodied and smooth with sweet fruit malt, a little kick of floral bitterness and a dry fruity finish.

Cask at the Barrel Vaults, St Pancras, 03/10/2025.
Amber pour topped with a lasting light beige head.
Nose is mellow fruit esters, herb, dried fruits, trace of toffee.
Taste comprises dried red berries, light biscuit crumb, fruit loaf, dark malts.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close with a modest bitter edge.
Not bad.

Nice beer. Has some pleasant dried berry notes, earthy-leafy hops, toasted malts, a little toffee. Fine condition. Perhaps a touch overly bitter in the finish but it’s not bad.
