Panda thanks to Cloin. Just a light haze on this gold beer, small and short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Very light malts that somehow don't feel thin, sweet enough. Light cooling pine. Impressively fruity hops, bright citrus and a little melon, some candy fruits. Fairly big dollop of hop spice before a very light finish. Long hop spicy linger.

Can from Sainsburys Streatham at home in London 01/12/2025 Big cross section of juicy tropical and citrus fruit, lots of overripe fleshy mango and tangerine segments, pineapple and passionfruit, sweet malty backbone, robust hoppy finish. Punchy supermarket DIPA

Northern Monk Cans At Home Evening Beer#1 of 3. Quite hazy yellow-golden in colour, with a bit of a head on it. More interesting though is the tasty sugars that go with this lightish tasting pine ale in both aroma and taste, but with plenty of body as you might expect. The combination is excellent.

There are murky DIPAs and then there is this stuff. I swear you need a spoon to finish this. The hops were everywhere, in fact they almost took the roof off my mouth. It's a good beer, but too much! At least I was eating pizza alongside it and that calmed things down.

Panda from Thelin Bodkin. Hazy amber tinged dark orange. Thin white head. Aroma has sweet fruit with a more bitter fruit and resinous edge. Fruity with a bitter resinous streak and herbal elements. Underlying vanilla porridge. Medium bodied. Slick to creamy. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Enjoyable.
