Shared both the Laugas and the Taanilinn with my brother at the same time. This one pours completely black with hardly any head. Aroma is very smooth, coffee and dark malts and some restrained cognac. Biiig but smooth body. Flavour is once again very smoothly incredible this is 14%! Rich and rather sweet, although not overtly. Lots of coffee and dark malts, some chocolate and dark fruit. Quite herbal and even a tad hoppy; medium bitterness. Finish is rich and boozy, with cognac and cocoa. Woah. Such a smooth impy. 14% is hardly noticeable. Love this, it's somewhat different from most impys.

Bottle, thanks SirLimpsalot. Black with a small tan head. A pleasant one with coffee, dark fruit, cognac and chocolate. The body was full and the finish long.

Bottle. Color: Black, light brown head. Taste: Dark roasted malt, coffee, mocha, molasses. Hints of vanilla and spices. Medium to heavy sweet, moderate bitter. Boozy notes, cognac. Warming mouthfeel at finish. Full body, soft carbonation. Nice BA, well balanced with the base beer. Very good Imperial Stout.

Elu on imeline.
