Bodney Towers bottle share. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Softish palate, slightly viscous, decent fine carbonation. Rich dark malts, good dark chocolate. Fruity dark chocolate and spirity chocolate liqueur. Slicy brandy and a touch of woody bitterness. Bitterish cherry. Rich ripe fruits. Smooth finish leaves a spicy fruity linger. Full on and full of goodness. Wish I had another.

Bottle shared at home. Black with light tan head. Big sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, big boozy cognac, fruity apple and prune, cloves, dried dark fruit, light peat, tobacco. Big sweet and bitter. Full body, oily and sugary. Soft carbonation. Untappd 4.4 myth busted!

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Black with nice light brown head. Coffee, sweet malts, deep cognac, quite some grass and green leaves, alcohol, dry wood, lots of sweet spices, some chocolate. Quite sugary sweet with lasting strong bitterness. Almost full bodied with dry light finish. Quite nice, but it seems very bitter. Definately one to share.

A black beer, a head is small and light brown. Aroma has richness of malts, liquorice, sweetness of dried fruits, vanilla, some wood. Taste has richenss of malts with strong sweetness, liquorice, barrel, wood, dried woods. Full bodied, not stickyness, smooth. Would be better as drier, but anyway, good and complex beer.

33cl Bottle, thanks Plovmand! Black colour, dense beige head. Aroma is sweet, cognac, raisins, dried figs, fig bread, chocolate, oak, light spicy, liquorice. Flavour is very sweet and borderline diabetes but unlike the Öö versions this is very balanced, wood, cognac, raisins, fig bread, chocolate, some roasted malts, brown sugar, oak, more cognac, just a hint of booze. Full bodied, smooth. Very tasty dessert beer.
