Cask at Great British Beer Festival 2023, Olympia, London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, dark fruit, bitter taste and aroma. This was a pretty damn harsh imperial stout but quite well made and quite boozy too.

Sampled at the brewpub, pours a murky, oily black with a ring of brown head. Nose has a lot of tar, smoke, roast, rubber, very dark chocolate, reduced cola. Flavors of burnt wood, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, rubber, malt, burnt caramel, burnt expresso bean. Oily, thick finish with some roasty bitterness.
