26/XII/18 - 33cl bottle from Willems (Grobbendonk), shared @ Thomas' place, BB: 4/III/19 - (2018-2025)
Clear pale blond beer, small aery irregular off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: malty, spicy touch, some lemon. MF: very lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: little sourish, bit lemony, sweet and sugary, tastes a bit like ginger beer. Aftertaste: sugary and sweet, lemony, ginger beer, not much gose about it, but not as bad as I feared...

330 ml. bottle sampled @ home. BBF 04/03/19. Hazy bright citrus, disappearing head. Nose is bafflingly sugary sweet Danone yoghurt, so yoghurt heavy, baffling, some artificial cleaning product note, the ginger probably. Sparkling, bafflingly sweet yoghurt, drink yoghurt, ginger is like some cleaning product lemonade, over carbonated, like some carbonated cow milk yoghurt baffling concoction, ginger is not gingery but like some cleaning product. Baffling, gross dude like sugary cow milk yoghurt (I haven’t had those is probably close to 20 years but this is how I imagine they taste like, probably used yoghurt for the bacteria), why is it so sweet dear lord, not really getting the salt. Baffling & nasty, now I have had all 3 Belgian Gose’s that exist to my knowledge. Nasty stuff.

Flesje gedeeld door Benzai en Kermis. Bleek, troebel bier met matig schuim. Aroma van veel gember en kruiden. In de smaak zit te veel gember, in de verte een beetje zoet met een zure nasmaak.

Bottle @ home shared with Inoven and kermis. Clear pale golden color, decent sized white head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is ginger with oregano. Taste is almost the same: ginger, oregano, quite salty and weird as gose always is. Meh.

Pours unclear yellow, small white head.. Smell is bit salty, ginger, in balanced proportions. Bit sweetness in there as well. Taste is very weird. it starts sweet ( how can this be a gose ???? ) than turns ginger, to end in a malty-ginger combo. Saltyness is very mild troughout the whole beer. bit sharp. bit ’soapy’ by the ginger, but not in a bad way. OK MF and carbo. It’s sad they call this a gose. this ain’t sour. This is sweet !!! ( a little bit, but for the style, it shouldn’t be ) so yeah... Weird understanding of styles continues in this Brewery. After their amber colored porter, they now have a sweet gose....
