Undated can from Jow, thanks! Drunk 11/21/24. Clear, bright golden-to-light-amber with a large, creamy, well-retained head. Yeah that's actually pretty well-done with the honey fermented out, leaving its spicy fermentation profile behind alongside nutty wheat and light white bread. Straightforward, peppery, biscuity, bready with a bit of residual honey sweetness. Clean. In the mouth it's...uhh..well, a wheat beer, I guess, with a lot of adjunct sugar (the honey) artificially bolstering the abv without the resulting bolster of the body. It's clean and all, but I'm not trying to drink a frickin 7.5% abv beer that has all the flavor and complexity of a 4% abv beer. A bit of honey for fermentation character would be fine, but they've gone too far! At least it's clean, thank god.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum, compliments of queenholly, best by February 29, 2015, can poured into a weizen glass. Aroma is light honey, medium/light body, medium/light carbonation, and a little small-bubble lacing. Taste is light honey and wheat. Average wheat beer with a little honey to improve it a little.

12 oz can from Iowaherkeye. Thanks Joey! Nose of Wonder bread fresh from the oven that I used to smell as a kid in Sacramento, mixed with light spice notes and sweetness. Clear yellow with a medium pale yellow head. Flavor is lightly sweet honey, spicy, a vanilla hint, and spices. I wish I had more! Decent wheat ale!
