Bottle @ tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Opaque black color, huge foamy a bit rough and fizzy large bubbled beige / tan head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts, oak, something a bit sourish or tart. Hmm not too promising. Taste malts, red wine, wood, light tart, tart dry tannin bitter finish. Fits the beer quite well. I quite like it, although a full bottle would be much perhaps.

Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head, Palate is light and a little dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, trace of dark chocolate. Nice light red wine tan into light red berries. Smooth finish. Light for it's abv and pretty drinkable.

Bottle. Darkest brown color with big beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chalky, ash, vineous, berries. Taste is chocolate, tobacco, wood, vineous, liquorice. Hardly any carbonation, oily mouthfeel. Aftertaste of bonfire and ash. Very interesting, this one has an unusual character!

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie. Thanks to Simon. Pours a deep dark brown, light tan head. Aroma of chocolate, bitter roast, woody, dried red fruits. Taste is similar, good deep malt presence, oaky, lightly sour, very mild hints of merlot adding a little colour to things. Decent.
