Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma of apples and a small amount of funk. Taste is a nice mixture of sweet apples and a hint of spice. Low carbonation. Not bad.

Handpull at the King's Head, Leicester. Bright gold and clear with a little ring of white head. Odd aroma. Aroma of apple skin, linen, vegetal notes. Decent taste, not too sweet. Nor a lot of apple either. A bit chemical. Medium body and carbonation. Not great, but certainly drinkable.

On tap at Hops, Crewe. Pours a bright apricot with no head at all. As expected apples mainly in the aroma, with just a hint of oranges. Apples again in the mouth, with a watery texture. But it does become quite dry with peel and some underlying sweetness. Quite light and juicy. Not bad – at least not sickly sweet.

Cask @ Glengower Hotel, Aberystwyth. Clear golden and extremely clean tasting, with a nice tangy apple to follow. Has a slightly dirty-apple aroma.

Bag in a box at Firkin Alehouse Folkestone. Clear deep gold colour no head. One of those ciders that reminds me of peanut butter for no good reason. Medium sweetness. I mean it's not great. Sulphur aroma. Not great.
