12 oz. bottle in hefeweizen glass. "Best by 6/09." Pours nice hazy yellow hefeweizen color, though head is big but too spongy for style. Slight lemongrass smell and just a bit of hefe esters. Lemon becomes more pronounced as I start to drink it, Now maybe this bottle is a bit old, ut it just seems to be a weak bottle version of a hefe that would be much better on tap. Last few drops in the bottle carried some trub flavor, though.

Overall Impression: Relatively boring Hefe, some lemon, cloudy yellow color, not much else. Another Magic Hat beer thats below average for it's style...

12 oz bottle courtesy of Dansting. Please drink by the end of March 09 notched on label. Pour is mostly clear pale golden with a 3 inch white head. Head falls without lacing. Fair amount of fine carbonation is visible. Aroma lemon-lime citrus, some sweet sugar and in the back some grainy wheat. Fresh smelling, but perhaps a bit to sweet sugary for me. Taste is a bit gentler on the sweetness, though stronger on the lemon citrus. The grassy wheat takes over in the middle, and lasts long through the finish. The wheat is a little cardboard and waxy. Palate is thin, on the watery side. Highly carbonated, easy to drink. This is a simple and satisfying beer, thanks for giving it to me Dan.

On tap. Hazy orange/yellow body with a white head. Sweetish banana/yeast aroma. Flavor is refreshing, fruity and a bit spicy, but quite light. Watery body and short finish. A lightweight but very refreshing.

This ??? poured a golden colour with a foamy bright white head. To the nose there are scents of pineapple, lemons, yeast and grass. First taste was smooth and a little watery with flavours of hopps and ripe fruit. The finish is hoppy?or lemony? Not too bad but thin.

Bottle Pours out a cloudy yellow with a hint of orange topped with a white head. Aroma of yeast and spice like a German hef. Picked up even a little clove. Tast of citrus and yeast quite the combo. odd
