Pitch black, topped with a thin beige head. Roasted aroma with hints of chocolate and coffee, and a slight acidity. Full body, low carbonation, and a fairly high herbal bitterness. The taste is bitterly roasted, delicately creamy, with notes of coffee and dark cocoa. The promised orange presence was missing. Not bad, but there is a but.

330ml can, via Beer52. Poured into my Gordon thistle shaped glass at home on 10th February 2026, during a mini tasting session with myself and no one else. dark brown body, weak beige head. Semi sweet front with chocolate and soft orange aroma/flavours. The orange (pulp according to the ingredients) gets stronger as the beer warms and the chocolate fades away somewhat. This leads to a more bittering finish.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A cloudy dark amber pour with a fast fading beige head; pleasant orangey aroma with a hint of chocolate; smooth in the mouth with a chocolate orange taste and some rather sharp alcohol that immediately hits the back of the throat; then a softer chocolate fudge body and a pleasing orange aftertaste.
Much better than the Los Tres Cerditos (https://brewver.com/beers/1106601/Los-Tres-Cerditos) this was paired with.

Tap at their taproom. Very dark brown with big dark beige head. Lots of roast, soft sweet malts and toffee, maybe a little orange but not sure if I’d picked that up if I didn’t expect it. Flowery, soft chocolate, ash, dried cherries. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with slick feel. OK.
