A very pale ale bursting with hop flavour from the signature hop - Citra. Brewed with soft Lakeland water, Maris Otter malted barley and whole cone hops.

Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, citrus fruits, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

500ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish golden colour with small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grassy, floral and slightly citrusy hoppy aroma, a touch of lemon tea, lemon zest, lemongrass, malty spiciness with a caraway touch, a cautious imitation of funk. Taste is citrusy hoppy with grassy and floral impurity, hints of lemon tea, lemongrass, a malty touch of caraway-spiced bread. I agree with Jimthechap: More enjoyable taken as a whole than analysed into its primary constituent parts.

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Pale golden with next to no head. Well hopped with a dryness in its texture and taste. There’s a nice light dry fruitiness attached to this ale as well as crisp low bitterness.

Clear golden beer with a thin white head. Aroma is hoppy and citrus-y. Flavour is pretty dry. Not spectacular as nothing leaps out, leaving a bitter, if slightly watery, aftertaste. If any one aspect of the flavour - bitter hop, zesty citrus, sour fruit - jumped out a bit more it’d be more than simply good.

500ml Bottle: BBD end of August 14. Poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard in the early hours of 6th May 14, after a long shift at a beer festival pulling but not drinking! very pale, straw blonde with a good white crown. Citrus nose and a very strong citrus taste, the Citra hops obviously doing their job well. A little too lively, so well carbonated I suppose. Just too much of a citrus bent for me, refreshing yes, but I prefer a more balanced brew with a maltier feel to the proceedings. Scored objectively.

Buena.

500ml bottle from Sainsbury - A bit of a hazy yellow body, solid white head, lacing all the way through. A heavy lemon-cum-grapefruit nose, it carries into the taste too, with a constant carbonating body.

Picked this up at Bicester Sainsburys, sometime during September 2013 consumed at home Sunday 6th October 2013 Really nice nose the Citra really shining, like it. Good, crisp, hoppy and fresh, curly hops abound, soft carbonation in mouth but leaves a raspy bitterness, dry citrussy bloody good hoppy beer easily available in supermarket. Excellent. Bottle at home from Sainburys. Aroma is grassy / slightly tangy orange lemon citrus with hay. Bright golden pour with a big ol’ white frothy head and lace. Pale a smooth and medium full. low / med carb. Flavour is hay / straw malt. Biting grapefruit / grassy bitterness. Bitterness lingers.
