Bit of roasted malt, lots of caramel(?), muted spices and an afterthought of pumpkin. Tastes more like an amber ale than a stout.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours very dark ruddy brown with a head so transient I didn’t really note it. Mixed aromas of pie spice and coffee. Full bodied. Moderate carb. Flavor is very smooth dark burnt malt with some coffee and pie spice. Hints of veg/squash. No single flavor is overpowering, but I’m getting: pie spice, coffee, burnt malt, chocolate, veg. Very well done.

Bottle at a winter beers tasting at Norma Jean. Very dark brown to black with a beige head. Sweet and sour aroma with a bit of pumpkin, spiciness, a bit of smoky notes, light roastiness, milky notes and other weird stuff. Sweetish flavor with light roastiness, sweet spiciness and a drier finish. Medium-bodied. Pretty weird.

A deep dark stout with a thick moka head. In aroma, musty chocolate with funked pumpkin spices. In mouth, a nice chocolate with light pumpkin spices, smooth and decent. On tap at Sunset Grill, Jan. 16 2011.

12oz bottle pours a watery, opaque black with an off white head that faded fast and left zero head. Nose had some pumpkin spice, some nutmeg, a little butterscotch, some ginger, a little bready, some light malt. Flavor is sweet malts, ginger, nutmeg, there’s definitely some root vegetables, pumpkin, carrot, toasted bread. Medium bodied, dry finish.

12oz bottle. Poured a dark black color with a tan head. Aroma was malty, roasted, notes of pumkin and a some spice. Flavor was chocolates, coffee, pumpkin, general roasted malts. Not overly strong in the pumpkin flavor, but good none-the-less.

On tap at stags head. The season of pumpkin continues. Pours a dark cola with very small head. Get very little pumpkin on the nose. Tastes is of cholcate, slight bitters, and subtle amounts of pumpkin spice. Pretty enjoyable not over powering pumpkin beer.

12-oz bottle Pours a dark cola brown brew with a thin tan head that slowly dissipates to a thin off-white ring. Aroma of chocolate, malt and vanilla. No pumpkin smell at all, mostly chocolate. Taste is medium bodied, with more distinct chocolate and pumpkin flavors with some flowery hops and vanilla. VERY complex. Finish is semi-sweet a light smoked background with mild pumpkin aftertaste with nutmeg. The chocolate pumpkin flavor was a first time experience. I got to say if you have a chance to try this, you should NOT be disappointed.

Bottle. Pours black. Nose of pumpkin, chocolate and malt. Taste of chocolate, coffee, roasted malts and pumpkin. Nice medium bodied pumpkin stout. Definitely more "stout" than most in the genre.
