0.33 l bottle from ’Sterk’, bottled in October 2016. Hazy, straw yellow with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sourish-fruity aroma of lemon, rhubarb and sauerkraut. Moderately sour, quite fruity taste of lemon, rhubarb, some sauerkraut and a touch of straw, followed by a short, quite tart, dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, moderately astringent and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite okay, still not a proper Berliner Weisse, rather plainly sour (if not overly so) without complexity and finesse.
