750 ml bottle, 2016 vintage. Dark red body, with a medium, light beige head. Aroma of barnyard, lactic sourness, sour dark berries, citrus. Tastes quite similar, less funky, with more elderberry. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carboantion. Finishes medium acidic, lactic, fruity, a bit funky. A bit more on the sour side. Lovely funk notes in the nose, while the taste is fruit-forward. Very solid. Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 4 / 15

Corked bottle. Perplex red color. Blackberries in the slightly floral aroma. Dry, very fruity flavor. Blacknberries, lemon. Sour. Just a hint of oak, the fruit dominates. Lovely!

750mL bottled Oct 28, 2016, drunk 9/20/17.
Deep magenta-burgundy with a good clarity. Small, pink-tinged head fades quickly to cover.
Aroma pours forth wave after wave of succulent blackberry. Soft funk again, as well, though perhaps a bit more Brett than either Mandarin or Druif. Light minerality, biscuity wheat below it. No alcohol or flaw. Again, it's rather dominated by the fruit on account of how mild the beer character is here.
In the mouth it's a fairly healthy mix of blackberry and lightly funky Brett. A touch of vegetal character and a hint of lactic acidity, but predominantly blackberry juiciness; fairly well-attenuated. Leads to a lightly astringent finish full of fruit acid and tannin. Though it's still not very beer-y, the carbonation is significantly tighter leading to a much fuller texture.

Bottle at Deanso’s last THT. Hazy purple with dark pink head. Quite some funk, hay, elderberries, cassis, light red wine vinegar, slight spicy yeast, fruit yoghurt, dried dusty herbs. Pretty sour, no real sweetness and light bitterness. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Quite nice, but a bit too sour.
Had it again in August 2025 and it was more clear and bright, but still a little too sour.
