Extra Stout Bodied. Naturally fermented using a premium blend of fresh pressed apple juice, not from concentrate, and fermented with Irish stout ale yeast, Lansdowne is a rich brown color, it shows a slight hint of butterscotch, balanced by a subtle fruitiness and a slightly dry crisp finish with a uniquely full and buttery mouth feel. Lansdowne never strays off-sides and is uncorrupted by added malt, spirit or grape alcohols, and is free of colorants, sorbate and benzoate preservatives.

22oz bomber poured into a shaker. Pours a clear dark amber with almost no head. Aroma of apples, caramel and brown sugar. Taste is heavily sweet. Apples with molasses and brown sugar. Full bodied with a thick sticky texture. Soft carbonation and a very long finish. Overall, very good. Pretty sure I could drink this everyday.

Bottle. Deep murky purplish brown color, few bubble edge head. Aroma of apple skins, grapes, subtle port wine. Taste is vinous as well, with port and vanilla in addition to the apples. Medium dry finish. Interesting and unique.

Bomber thanks to Kyle. I enjoyed this, it is odd though. Pours a cloudy brown/copper color with a small white head. A big nose of overripe apples. The flavor is a dry, oddly ripe fruit, caramel, dusty, very good. Almost tastes aged, nice.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a white wine glass. Pours translucent golden top and bottom and light opaque brown in the center with very small white head that quickly dissapates completely. No lacing, syrupy texture, no carbonation, and molasses aroma. Taste is molasses, some pressed complex apple, hint of of alcohol, and finishes butterscotch. Tastes more like molasses than cider, pass. A little better once the sediment in bottom is included.

Sampled from a bottle. Cloudy, brown appearance. Light apple aroma with yeast. Flavor has dry apple, a dry cider. I like it.

A dirty hazed BROWN cider with a thin off white head. In aroma, a nice mix of apples and molasses, musty. In mouth, a strange mix of tart apples and black strap molasses, the last reminding me of molasses on buckwheat pancakes. Strange experience. Bottle at City Beer Hall, April 28, 2012.

Pours a hazy burnt caramel into a Sam glass. Head never establishes and forms a subtle hug of the rim. Caramel apple aromas. Dry with sweet caramel and sweet candied apples. A bit too sweet, but might be interesting to create a dessert with it.

bottle - Pours hazy brown with a small, rapidly fading head. The aroma is of brown apples and a little alcohol. It tastes of sweet apples with some brown apples character and an unusual (for a cider) caramel/molasses quality. Pretty good.

Bomber. Pours hazy copper with no head. Aroma is nutty, butterscotch--odd. Taste is almost cloying sweet, weird. The nutty butterscotch flavors overpower the apples almost. At first I thought it was going to be a drainpour, but it started to grow on me a little bit, oddly enough.
