Bottle. Brewdog, Leeds. Hazy, lumpy, dark gold. Film of sticky, white head. Now there’s sticky banana, and there’s sticky banana. This is good, sticky banana. Juicy, sweet, pineapple hop. It’s all very sweet, and chewy. Any bitterness kicks in late on. Soft, toffee, thick, chewy palate. Finishes light, chewy bitter. Tasty gear. Sweet, and chewy thick. Quite delicious.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a cloudy orange color with a medium sized creamy white head that lingered and left exceptional lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy tropical fruits. The flavor was very sweet and sugary with pineapple, passionfruit, guava and a hint of pepper. Very long tropical fruit finish with bozziness coming though. The booziness grows and begins to distract. I liked it less as it warmed up. Moderately full bodied. Tasty.

Poured from the tap. Hazy orangey yellow with white head. Mild sweet malt flavour with subtle caramel. Grassy hops in the background and on the finish. Dry end.

Winter Beer Fest, Philadelphia: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is rather light, with some spice, pine, and the like. Taste is hoppy. Good amounts of pine. A little bit on the sweet side. It is a hard beer to characterize. Nothing special though.

Bottle from the BottleDog and drunk at home. It’s either the crystal malt I don’t like or that this is a little less than fresh. Finish though remains pretty fresh. A little spicyness, a little bitterness on the finish. Good mouthfeel good carbonation. Just a little dull. Some ok milk chocolate flavour later. Some ok sting on the finish. Aroma of staleish American malt isn’t great.

Bottle: Dark golden pour with perfect clarity. A creamy finger of sticky beige head. Great retention and tons of sheet lacing. Nose is mostly citrus and pine with a light hint of caramel malt. Sticky, resin-filled mouthful of pine and floral hops. Some citrus too. A decent malt backer, but great hop flavors dominate throughout. Very nice stuff here.

Keg at Brewdog Birmingham; deep amber pour with big off white head, fruity tangerine aroma, citrus and grapefruit taste doesn’t taste like a 7.4 ABV well hidden very drinkable.

355ml bottle from Brewdog Online Shop. Pours clear golden amber, small white head. Aromas of orange and caramel. Taste has more of the same, quite a bitterness to it. As another reviewer says, more of a strong pale ale or IPA than a winter beer. Not bad though.
