Hazy amber pour. It has a malty aroma with citrus and earthy notes. Tastes sweet and malty and kind of boozy with a little spicy character. Pretty good.

Opaque copper color. Taste is slightly sweet to start but has an earthy hop finish with a IPA aftertaste. Reminds me of Dogfish Head.

Winter warmer. Pours a cloudy dark orange-gold color with a thick khaki head and great retention. Very good lacing. Very light hops aroma. Soft fruity hops flavor up front with a touch of orange rind in the finish. Hops flavor increases a little as it warms. Very light for a strong ale. Warming, but not boozy. 8.5% ABV is very well hidden. Pretty decent.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Greg & Jane's Beer and Wine. Appearance is murky orange (lots of fine white particulates) with light sparkle, finger-width foamy, off-white head with poor retention and modest lacing. Aroma is bread, astringent alcohol. Taste is fruit, bread, sweet sugar candy. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and mostly sweet with mild bitter finish. Overall, mostly just a sweet, fruity, somewhat astringent beer. Forgettable.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy medium orange/amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, apricot, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper/pine, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/bready malt and citrus/earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, apricot, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, apricot, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, pepper, pine, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, nuttiness, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready malt and citrus/earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, fairly sticky, and slightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Mildly warming 8.3%. Overall this is a very nice imperial amber ale style. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready malt and citrus/earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. Nice well rounded complexities. Balanced Amarillo/Styrian Goldings hops with Munich/Crystal malts. A bit juicy feeling. A very enjoyable offering.

Bomber (8.3% ABV) at my daughters on 12th Feb 2017: the day before I flew home to England. Golden amber pour, white topping. Marmalade like aroma and taste, fairly sweet throughout with a slight piney hop bitterness late on: decent.
