Draught, 7.5%. Malty aroma with a hint of vanilla, sweet aroma hop. Hazy orange colour. Nice creamy white head, quite stable. The flavour is on the malty side, but not sweet. Rough bitterness in the right amount. Vanilla aftertaste, some coconut.

Bottle at the Funky 7, Brooklyn. Vintage bottle from 2002. Pours mostly clear copper with a medium, off-white head. Toasty malt aroma, some caramel. Medium sweet flavor, restrained and mellowed but still with tons to offer. Lots of caramel, mild leafy bitterness, some toffee. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, toasted malts, caramel, brown sugar. Very good condition.

Bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver
Beautiful orange-amber color; creamy head. The aroma is mild, common, with some malt. The flavor is based on the light caramel and some malt; quite strong hopping (and bitterness), but without prominent aromatic components. Pleasant to drink, but easy.

22 oz. bottle, pours somewhat hazy golden with an off-white head. Aroma of citrus, light bready notes and caramel malt. Flavour of dried fruits (apricot, mango, peach) and oranges, with lots of citrusy hops and substantial malt background.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Buy Rite - Jersey City, 1/14/11

Aroma: The nose has earthy hops, caramel, and some citrus notes as well
Appearance: It pours a cloudy orange color with a white head and lots of lace on the glass
Flavor: The flavor leans hoppy with lots of earth, some fruitiness, and a later malty sweetness
Palate: This one has a good body, a crisp mouthfeel, and a long lasting bitter finish
Overall Impression: I thought this beer was pretty solid overall. Enjoyable stuff, I don't have much more to say beyond that.

22oz bomber courtesy of Elise. Orange-tan with a big, foamy, off-white head. Sweet malt and noble hop aroma brings to mind an Imperial Pils. Rich malt tones, with some soapy, resiny, piny hops. Alcohol and big body are sort of in your face. An interesting seasonal, Imp Pils sans lagering.

Bomber from Perry’s Liquors. Nose of sweet honey, lightly grassy hops, and some cloves over a malty caramel base. Clear copper with a medium beige head. Flavor is sweet mixed with bitter and some toffee notes. Quite decent stuff!

Amber and slightly hazy. White head and beautiful lacing. Scent of dry hops, grapefruit and tangerine, that mixes in with a hint of toffee, clove and cardamom. A perfect companion for those cold winter days when you feel the need to tuck yourself in a blanket and defrost. (Pint carried from Seattle via Bergen to Tromsø for the Superpower beer session part I, 13.01.09)

Deep slightly hazy copper coloured body with a beautiful tan head, two centimetres thick. Aroma of fresh hops, malt, alcohol and a bit of sweet fruits. Medium to full-bodied; Strong hoppy tastes come through first with a bit of malt, some alcohol, fruits and a bit of bitterness at the end. Aftertaste shows some malt, a bit of sweetness, but mostly dry hops from the flavour - nice! Overall, a good and strong IPA - with a bit of a kick and a good sweetness at the end. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Half Time in Poughkeepsie, New York on 11-June-2009, sampled on 03-July-2009 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.
