341mL bottle, sold way past its prime but I didn't notice until I bought it. Pours a murky diarrhea brown with a big off-white head. Nose doesn't smell too bad or oxidized, with toasted nuts and some caramel, a bit of oxidation. Flavour of creamy nuts, some caramel and toasted malts - surprisingly not too oxidized and nothing offensive, just an "old" quality. Medium-bodied and a bit off-kilter from a regular brown ale, which is a nice change. I'll uprate this a bit, given that this is an old bottle.

12oz bottle pours a hazy brown with a cloudy, white head. Nice malty nose, bready, light hops, fairly approachable. Flavor is sweet, malty, a little brown sugar, a touch of cookie dough. Medium bodied, sweet finish.

Bottle: Poured a deep brown color ale with a generous foamy head with surprisingly good retention and good lacing. Aroma of well balanced caramel malt with just enough sweetness and some light dry English hops as well. Taste is also a well balance mix between some rich caramel malt with just enough sweetness and some dominant English hops (which are sadly on the decline since this is not as fresh as it once was). Well made for a style that doesn’t offer it fair share of surprise.

Bottle thanks to blutt59. Pours with a small off-white head over a hazy amber body. Aroma of honey, apple, cinnabun, belgian yeast, and a touch of roast. Taste is honey, caramel and a lingering bitterness. Fizzy and dry mouthfeel.

Slightly hazy amber. Thin head. Slightly earthy, nutty with a leafy hop character. Really dry, hoppy take on the style. Has length and a relatively full mouthfeel. Clean. Pretty good hoppy brown.

Bouteille 341ml.

A reddish brown ale with a thick off white head. Aroma is very pleasant, lots of floral hops, marmelade, light black pepper. In mouth, a nutty malt with good floral hops, grapefruit. Medium bodied. A very nice ale! Bought at Jovi, 2.45$.
