This beer has a generous head compact and firm. Its slightly brown colour is the result of the roasted barley. It has a dark ruby brown colour and a very intense aroma. The aromatic herbs and spices used greatly enhance its delicious smell. This beer is full-bodied with a smoothness that is the result of the synergy of caramelized malts, carefully controlled fermentation and long cold storage. St-Feuillien Cuvee de Noel has a very subtle bitterness that is the dominant flavor in this harmonious ale that strikes a perfect balance between all the different ingredients.

0.75 l bottle thanks to Lukica, unclear amber, small off-white head. Aroma is cherry, spice such as black pepper, anise, some ethanol, hint of molasses. Sweet, candy, toffee and spice. Some warmth, alcohol hidden in the flavour. Smooth, lacks richness and complexity, anise prevails in the rather sweet finish.

Really a typical belgian strong. Lots of ripe fruit, big maltiness, yeasty and bready, the crarbonation was a little over the top, and a touch of a metallic finish. Quite refrsshing though, and a little too easy drinking for the alcohol content. Solid beer.

Pours a deep dark brown with a creamy head. Spicy aroma of dark malts, bread, caramel, roasted nuts, some anise and many more spices. Medium sweetness and lively carbonation. Pretty tasty winter brew.
