Bottle, 75cl. An almost clear one, golden in color and with a minimal sized white head. The aroma is lightly peachy, with a generic fruityness and a light malty touch. Very fresh, which goes for the flavor too. A bit more peach in the flavor, and some bitterness. Rather thin on the palate, with a rather low level of carbonation. Peachy finish. I would like more of everything in this one, but it’s very refreshing and easy drinkable, and the low alcohol level is quite nice too. 150307

Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival in KEGS. Bottle share thanks to tdtm82. Cheers Tom! Very hazy gold beer, residual white head. Palate is light and crispy. Mild seltzer. Little citrus and floralness. Mild peach and a trace of lemon. Light dry finish. Fine but another underwhelming beer from this once mighty brewery.

75cl bottle @ ’t Schooltje split with Urbain, mercike.

Bottle shared at Bruce’s birthday - CBC Clerkenwell. Big thanks to Paul. The aroma holds some grass, light plastic, lemon peel. Light sweet flavor with rindy citrus, faint bread, tangy lemon, faint oxidation and paper. Light bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Pretty dry to finish, some dry and grainy bread, lemon rind. So so.

Bottle shared at Craft Clerko. It pours lightly hazy golden orange with a small white head. The nose is soft, peachy, stone fruits, yoghurt and some florals. The taste is smooth, fruity, peaches, apricot, mild grassy bitterness, straw, light spice and fruit yoghurt with a dryish finish. Light body and soft carbonation. Smooth and rather drinkable, but not a whole lot to it. Good for low abv though.

Thanks! Half of a 750 ml. bottle consumed @ Kulminator. Almost clear orange, little head. Nose is sweetish, faintly oily & watery peach compote, light marmalade. Taste is very watery & weak, like a glass of water with a small tablespoon agave & light peach compote. Total waste of water & money. Yay, communism & watery.I am starting to get the feel that ego continues to get the best of Struise.
