Can at tasting. Pink pour. Aroma of red fruit, lacto, berries and cream. Taste has dry bitters, lacto, cream, mild tart, berries and still lot of hopburn. Not very good.

Can split at L42, thanks to A Tipple, 26/09/17. Nose is raw hops, red berry linger, grains, toasted bread, sweet berry. Taste comprises red berry drizzle, citric tinged straw, raw hop burp, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a green raw hop bite. Sippable but a poor show for both the style and price point.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Mr Tipple. Almost opaque dark purple beer, small magenta head. Palate is light, dry and has decent fine carbonation. Good berry fruits, raspberry blueberry and blackberry and others. Fair bit of hop spice which starts to burn a little. Spicy finish. Actually quite liked this!

Can @ Sori Taproom. Poured deep golden color with a thin white head. Aroma has fruity juicy notes, hoppy stuff. Pretty much same flavor. Juicy. Hop burn finish. Still ok

Can at L42 - thanks to Adrian. It pours crazy cloudy murky purple with a quickly dissipating white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, creamy, sugary, berry smoothie, ice cream, orange creamsicle and blueberry muffin. The taste is bitter - sweet, sugary, sweet berry, hop rawness, harsh greenness, fruit smoothie, resin, varnish, spice and acidic burn. Medium body and fine carbonation. All over the place with plenty of rawness/harshness. Sounded like a good idea, but really doesn't work.

Can shared in Canary Wharf - thanks to Tipple for procuring. Pours murky purple with a light pink foam head. The nose holds fleshy berries, grapes. Light sweet flavour, with some oddly bitter rind, light pine, more fleshy berries, bitter fruit skins. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Finishes with ripening blueberries, raw grassy bitterness, a bit of hop burn, more pine. Pretty muddled overall.

THT August at Kwartje. Sampled from can. Opaque purple with thin white head. Blood orange, beetroot, blueberry, strawberry, lactose, sopropo (Google it!) and wasabi smoothie. Moderate sweet and strong bitter, insane sharp bitter/spicy note in the finish. Like raw prickly nettles or really sharp onions or wasabi in your throat. Medium body and a very juicy texture with soft carbonation. The bitter burn in the finish seems almost chemical and sadly makes this almost undrinkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Milkshake IPA (Breakfast) on 25 Dec 2017 at 22:48 - Score: 5.
