schenkt bruin en oogt zwart met fijne bruine kraag. aroma is behoorlijk van oa mouten, zoetig, chocolade, koffie, gebrande- en geroosterde mouten, hout, whisky en bourbon. Smaken zijn redelijk zoet, matig bitter, zeer sterk, licht zuur, sterk gemout van geroosterde en gebrande mouten, redelijk romig en vol, behoorlijk alcoholisch, vanille, hout, whisky/bourbon, erg goed, mooie zachte basis, fantastische BA smaken, afgevlakte moutigheid en iets van rode wijn..ok het is een erg goed bier, maar ook deze haalt het niet bij de eerdere de Molen BA bieren voor mij...

Koffie, te rijpe banaan, porto, ... Toch wel zware alcohol. Heel speciaal, minder mijn ding.

Bottle sample @ Leuven Beer Innovation 2015, shared with the RB Belgian crew. Brune foncée, col café au lait. Arôme est rempli de malt alternant grillé, café, chocolaté et barrique avec un petit rétro de moka. Palais est malté très profond sur un boisé prononcé, mais agréable de différentes barriques. Biscuité, chocolaté à souhait avec un petit rappel chocolat au lait. Retrouve cette levure typique de DM. Doux sur qcq notes de vanille, liquoreux avec un rappel de Bourbon et vin rouge.

Due to artificial coloured illumination, appearance not estimable, arbitrary 4/5 Wood, tobacco, raisins, portwine, brandy, dried plums. Plums/plumsyrup, raisins/sultanas, brandy, cigarbox deckleaf (sandalwood). Rich - no more to say. Up to standards, Menno!

Thanks for sharing! Sampled bottled @ Leuven Innovation Beer Festival. Black dark brown with no head. Nose is huge, huge, huge bourbon, light varnish, overly boozy note, huge vanilla, sugar, candy, syrupy chocolate & more bourbon. Taste is huge bourbon, alcoholic, sweet chocolate syrup, candy, sweet sugar, more bourbon, malty,.. Lower carbonation, syrupy,… Very one note but pleasant for bourbon freaks.

Clear dark purple brown beer, creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of bourbon, vanilla, alcohol, chocolate, sweet and sugary, some caramel, really nice, dessert in a glass! MF: soft carbon, full body. Taste: little bitter, alcohol, mocha, some coffee, caramel, bit vegetal. Aftertaste: coffee, cocoa powder, bitter, green banana peel.

33 cl bottle. Pours pitch black with a small brown to fully gone head. Aroma is overripe fruity. Wineous. Thick malty, liqourice, tarish and roasted. Chocolate and dense. Roasted and lingering dark malty finish.
