From tap at the brewpub. Dark brown to black color with beige head. Roasted malty aroma, cocoa, milk chocolate, coffee, caramel, licorice. Sweet moderate bitter. Almost medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Bouteille 33cl, gift pack, merci Javier, BB 04/2019, lot# 17.10. Brune au col crémeux café au lait. Arôme au nez fin malté, note de grillé, café léger dont un rétro léger de baies noires. Effet lactose reste modéré. Palais est léger axé sur le malt donne une bonne présence de café et un ajout lactose qui donne un caractère un peu lactique qui prend un peu le dessus sur le profile café. Cela devient un peu aigre avec un effet de cassis sur la fin et de mûre.

Draught, taster. Sampled on the 28/10/2018 at "Abirradero", Barcelona (Spain). Jet black colour with a medium beige head. Aroma is black coffee, lacto, smoked malts and some licorice. Taste is intense smoked malts and some roasted coffee beans. Finish is strong smoked with a coffee bittery finish. Next one please!

Dark brown color, almost black with a minimal light beige head. Aroma has notes of sweet roasted malts, and coffee beans. Flavor with notes of lactose, slightly sweet, coffee hints. Sweet final with light roasty mouthfeel.

Draft at Abirradero, RBESG 2016. Dark brown with a bubbly tan head. Aroma of cocoa, lactose, toffee, light roasty notes, malt and caramel. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light o moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. [06-07-2016]

10th July 2016 with the RBESG guys in Barcelona. This was on tap at Abirradero. Jet black in colour, the head a small tanned affair. As the name suggests, this is a coffee flavoured Stout and the nose is certainly coffee forward to get you in the mood, the taste is smooth semi-sweet chocolate and coffee flavours tempered by milky overtone. Decent.
