Bière 33 cl obtenue dans le Beery Christmas 2017. Robe ambrée aux reflets rouges. Nez sur le malt, sucré, caramel. En bouche, malt, sucre. Pas mal, mais pas mon style.

330ml bottle. Hazy, amber colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, sulphureous head. Fruity hoppy and mellow malty, slightly husky aroma converging at the junction of red berries, milk chocolate and honey without explicitly carrying any of these flavours. Taste is husky, mellow malty, slightly bitter, fruity hoppy, a minimally nuttily touch. Inharmonious, not exposing real Bock character.

0.33 l bottle from 'Hopt', best before March 2018. Clear, dark reddish amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity and a bit resiny aroma of caramel, raisins, red fruits and some pine. Very sweet, malty, moderately fruity and slightly resiny taste of caramel, molasses, raisins, some red fruits and a touch of pine, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly resiny finish. Medium to full body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!

33cl bottle @ 3rd Niamey craft beer tasting, merci Willy. BB 03/2018.

Pours relatively light looking amber, some beige foam on top, does not form a long-lasting head. Sweet caramel in the aroma, fruity and actually also some hops providing some counterweight to bock sweetness. Tastes interesting, lots of sweetness in the body, sugars, caramel but also some tropical fruits, sensation that is brought forward by good hoppy overall character of this beer. Light herbal bitterness lingering in the finish. Pretty good, modern take on a classical German style.

330mml bottle as part of the Beery Christmas. Tasted on the 06/12/2017 at home. Copper colour with a medium offwhite head. Aroma of grains, caramel and malts. Taste is slightly smokey and sweet, with presence of the caramel and toffee. Next one please!

Beery Christmas #5. Pours a dark amber, very little head. Nice clean aroma, caramel, malty, rather hoppy. Medium body. Flavour is malty, nutty, caramelly, spicy, earthy and hoppy. Really great bock, has a nice hoppy touch to it.
