Many thanks to simontomlinson for this can. Fantastic golden in the glass, grainy golden beginning. Intense bitterness, well balanced, refreshing and round with a nice malty bitter aftertaste. Great full bodied.

Can from Trafalgar Wines Brighton and drunk at home. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Not much of the usual Harvey's yeast aroma. A bit more yeast character Harvey's house flavour in the mouth. Not much malt, some very pale malt. Some peppery hop finish added to by the carbonic acid finish. It's kinda ok. Some peach fruit flavour. Very light in malts. ok.

0.1 l on tap at ’The Shakespeare’. Clear, golden yellow with a white head. Sweetish, slightly grassy and a little fruity aroma of straw, some apples and hints of citrus. Sweetish, slightly malty, grassy and a bit fruity taste of honey, caramel, straw and some apples, followed by a short, slightly bitter, grassy and rather dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

Tried at the Golden Eagle, Lincoln. Deep golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma is light malty caramel and fruity to floral. Taste is mid bittersweet. A touch gassy.

Can from the brewery in Lewes. A very odd beer, was expecting a bier but got something else. It is like a tasty lager with a distinct Harvey’s taste (which I adore) but the mix was just not meant to be in my mind. Better to expect a golden ale and it might be more enjoyable. Confirmed again.

Can shared in London - thanks to Scoopy. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. Crispy pale bread in the nose, some biscuit, straw. Light sweet flavour with basic biscuity character, white bread. Light bodied with average carbonation. Simple finish, a little, doughy white bread, pale grain. A little bland but OK.

Can shared at Leightons place, 29/12/2016. A pale golden coloured pour with a fading white head. Aroma is pale grains hay, grassy hop, hedgerow hop. Little mineral on the nose. Flavour is composed of chalky mineral, hay, straw, grassy hop, little thin. Palate is thin, semi sweet, moderate carbonation. Not much to it.

Can as Harvey’s Gold Bier. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The aroma is quite sweet, earthy, general fruity vibe (rhubarb?), white bread and toasty grain. The taste is crisp, dry, clean, quite light, soda water, toasty grain, straw and earth with a dry finish. Light body and fine carbonation. Pretty light and a touch wishy washy. Fair.
