Bottle shared. Pours slight hazy amber brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of oak barrel notes, American whisky, caramel, vanilla, some light spicy notes, marzipan, toffee and a little overripe dark fruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter. Light full bodied with light fizzy carbonation.

Bomber courtesy of and shared with Kermis. No head. Low carbonation. Not an IPA, more of a barley wine. Clear amber pour. Whiksey and vanilla in the aftertaste. Hard to rate but a lovely beer

Dominated by whiskey. Medium sweet, like a barleywine or American strong ale. Too much whiskey character for my taste, but it is a well crafted beer. I did not think of this as an ipa when I was drinking it, the hops are mostly lost.

Bottle shared by Ryan, thanks! Pours a hazy amber orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a strong whiskey note with a bit of pine and sweet grain coming through. Flavor has sweet grains and strong whiskey with just a hint of pine hoppiness.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber, medium creamy beige head, dissipates slowly with nice lacing. Aroma is rye forward, caramel, a bit of pine, vanilla, oak. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, lots of vanilla and oaky rye. Medium body, just a tiny bit of astringence, lingering bitterness that strengthens to the finish. I love templeton rye aged beers, and this is no exception.

66cl bottle courtesy of Jeremy shared at Struise Schooltje.

Thnx to jeremy ! Pours clear brown , caramelly . Good white head . Smell is intense , buttery whiskey . Some vanilla and oak . Taste is rye , grain, vanilla . Oak . Very pure taste . Not that hoppy though , bit bitter . All the wood-related tastes of a bourbon , but not the boozyness . Very nice and unique ! Nice mouthfeel and perfect carbo .
